Server issues

Our server host is dealing with an issue affecting our site. We are working with them to specifically identify the issue and fix it. This issue is affecting thousands of sites world-wide. We apologize for this and will keep you updated.

Update Tuesday April 12:
The servers are running normally now and we keep monitoring them closely.

New Version 2.0.1.0

We are happy (and a little bit proud) to announce yet another cool new version of the famous CNCSimulator Pro software. This version brings good news for all of you who have asked us about Macro programming. We now support parameterized programming inspired by the Fanuc Custom Macro B language specification. We also include a special debugger window where users can step through macro code and keep an eye on how variables change during execution.

This new version also gets rid of the Z movements during radius compensation limitation. No more annoying alarms when moving in Z during G41/ G42!

A smaller change has also been made to the MRU (Most Recent Used) files list. Now they show up in proper order so that the last used file is at top of the list.

Some stability issues have also been fixed.

This version needs .NET Framework 4.0 or later to run.

New version

We have uploaded a new version that fixes the problems some users with ATI/AMD cards had. If you are affected by these issues, uninstall your current version and update to version 2.0.0.8 or later.

Important information regarding ATI/AMD Graphics cards

Notice regarding ATI/AMD Graphics cards. There is a problem with the compatibility with some of these cards making the milling machines invisible and causing other graphic issues. We are working on a solution to this and will hopefully have a new download ready soon. If you are affected by this issue, please contact support and we will let you know as soon as we have a fix ready.

Expiring versions

Important notice to users of the free version.
Version 1.2.1.6 of the simulator will expire on Monday, November 23, 2015.
All versions prior to 1.2.1.6 will expire on Monday, November 16, 2015.

Download and upgrade your version today to avoid interruptions.

Platinum Edition users can continue to run old versions but we encourage everyone to update to the latest one.

New server

We are now a week into using our new server, and no more issues have been reported. The new server runs perfectly and has faster response time. Thanks everyone that has reported on this, for helping us making the site and the software better!

Server issues and migration

Monday Oct 19: We have issues with our license server provider right now and are doing everything we can to get it back in normal service as soon as possible. New users will have to re-register the software as a consequence. We apologize for this and ask for your patience while we are solving the problem. If you have questions, please email support and we will answer as soon as possible.

Update Tuesday Oct 20: The server issues are mainly fixed by now. We have migrated the license server to another hosting provider and are waiting for the DNS propagation to be ready. At the moment, in most part of the world, users are connecting to the new server, while in some countries, they are still connected to the old server. We expect everything to be back to normal within 24 hours but will keep you updated if new issues occur. Thank you for your patience while we are working on this.
