We would like to thank everyone that have sent in suggestions, bug reports and other requests for the next version of the simulator. Without your qualified support, we would be stuck. Our team is currently working on improvements so there is still time to send in more wishes. We promise to listen to each and everyone of you. Hurry up!

Important info: Windows 10 S

Microsoft is releasing a new version of Windows called Windows 10 S.

If you want to be able to run CNCSimulator and thousands of other programs (like all Adobe products) do not buy a computer with this operating system. It is a limited version of Windows that just allow you to run software from the Microsoft app store. A computer with Windows 10 S is more like a Chromebook than a real computer. Microsoft is trying to force everyone to use their app store so they can take a share from every sale just like Apple do. It is bad news for the consumers as well as for all independent software creators.

Please have a look at this video by Jerry. He has been an employee at Microsoft for 15 years so he knows what he is talking about.

Windows Creators Update

The Windows 10 Creators Update is currently rolling out. This update changes essential information in the computer making the fingerprint used by our licensing system different. Users will be affected by this by having to re-register and paying customers might find themselves using the free version instead of their paid one (Platinum Edition). If this happens to you, please contact support and we will help you correct the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this.

Planning

We are planning for the next version. Now would be a great time to send in your feedback and your wishes for new features. We promise to listen!

What do our users think about the support?

We are quite happy width these numbers but would of course have preferred to have a 100% positive rating. We are constantly working on improving our support so that everyone will get quick and accurate replies. If you have suggestions on how we can improve, let us know. We appreciate your feedback!

Happy New Year!

We would like to wish all our users in the CNC community a Happy New Year! Thank you for all support and great feedback! Our resolution for 2017 is to keep on improving the simulator and the documentation. Thank you for a great year and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
